Yes they are

We employ and pay our caregivers. This includes all payroll taxes to federal and local municipalities. You will not be liable to pay these taxes unless you hired a caregiver directly.

Non medical home care services are not covered by regualr health insurance or Medicare. Non medical home care services are paid for mostly by direct private pay from personal financial resources. In some cases LTC (Long Term Care) insurance does provide a benefit for non medical home care.

In accordance with most U.S. employment practices, time and a half is charged for all holidays.
